New Barbados Data Recovery Lab Gives CBL Data Recovery Caribbean Edge

February 1, 2011 – TORONTO, ON/CHRIST CHURCH, BARBADOS — CBL Data Recovery Technologies Inc. (CBL), a leading provider of computer data recovery services, has opened a new and expanded lab in Barbados, West Indies (www.cbltech.com.bb) to serve the region’s growing business infrastructure.

“Clearly there was a need to expand our data recovery operations to meet growing demands in the Caribbean,” says CBL’s president Bill Margeson. “Regardless of the storage device being used, time is a critical factor when providing data recovery services. Headed by Chris Alleyne, former CEO of Sunbeach, the island’s largest Internet Service Provider, he brings more than 18 years of IT experience to the new facility in Christ Church. A UNIX specialist, Alleyne has vast experience designing, managing and supporting enterprise systems.

“Today’s demands for storage capacity are increasing and there is going to be more pressure on businesses’ ability to back up, store, protect and retrieve critical data,” adds Alleyne. “I’m looking forward to reaching out to businesses in the Caribbean and helping them safeguard their digital information.”

The new laboratory, a state of the art 1,650 sq. ft. facility in the heart of Barbados’s prime industrial center in Christ Church, is fully equipped to deal with any digital disaster from hard drives and servers to tape and disk-to-disk back ups.

With the addition of the Barbados lab, CBL has offices and labs in eight countries on four continents including: Atlanta, GA; Toronto, Canada; Newcastle, United Kingdom; Kaiserslautern, Germany; Beijing, China; Sao Paulo, Brazil and Singapore.
