Data Recovery Firm Opens The First Hard Drive Recovery Facility in Houston Texas

ARMONK, NY September 21, 2005 — CBL Data Recovery Technologies Inc. has opened a service facility in Houston as part of its overall strategy of expanding operations in the United States.

Founded in 1993, Armonk, N.Y.-based CBL is a provider of computer data recovery services for clients experiencing data loss. Recovery is performed through the company’s network of labs, offices and authorized partners.

The Houston facility includes drop-off reception and advisory service for computer users who have damaged digital data storage media including hard disk drives, magnetic tape and flash memory cards.

The addition of a service facility in Houston was planned in conjunction with a new CBL laboratory in Atlanta. The Houston location will feed data recovery jobs to the Atlanta lab.

The company’s labs house recovery tools and clean room facilities.

Customers delivering affected drives to the site will receive a full report on the condition of their media and an estimated recovery cost. The free report will be generated within 24 hours of drop-off.
