CBL Data Recovery Signs Data Recovery Agreement With Nexinnovations

TORONTO, ON — August 14, 2002 — CBL Data Recovery Technologies Inc. (www.cbldatarecovery.com), a leading provider of computer data recovery services today announced it has entered into a services alliance with NexInnovations Inc., Canada’s largest independent technology service provider. The alliance enables NexInnovations to market, resell and integrate CBL Data Recovery solutions as well as business continuity planning and implementation services across Canada.

“The growth of data storage in corporate Canada is rising exponentially,” says CBL’s president Bill Margeson. “New technologies that use voice, video, e-commerce and CRM applications are helping to ensure valuable corporate data is not subject to permanent loss from unforeseen failures. By entering into this agreement, NexInnovations offers its customers additional safeguards that protect their dependence on data storage systems.”

“We’re focused on providing best-in-class data recovery services and delivering peace-of-mind to customers with the confidence in our collective ability to recover lost data in times of crisis,” adds Glen Robertson, Vice President, Technical Services, NexInnovations Inc. “Data protection combined with timely access to information is a real competitive advantage for business and government organizations.”

In an ideal world, organizations never experience data loss, because they have the systems in place to prevent problems as well as backup programs to restore data when something does go wrong. However, this is not an ideal world, and that’s why there is a data recovery service. Whether it is a sudden, catastrophic event or a slow deterioration of performance, data loss means essential information cannot be accessed. Managers often do not realize how complex and fragile their data is until it is too late.

“Time is a critical factor when providing data recovery services,” says Margeson. “It is vital to have a geographic presence near computer users to get the job done as quickly as possible when data disaster strikes. By adding data recovery services as an end-to-end services program, NexInnovations strengthens its focus on excellence at all levels of the service chain.”
