We can definitely appreciate coming up with creative uses of old hard drives here at CBL. As you would expect, we see our fair share of old HDD parts with all the data recovery we do.
This Russian DIY hacker used punched out digits on an old hard drive platter and back-lighting from LEDs to make a stroboscopic effect. The results are pretty neat. Watch the video to see it come to life.
